About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Finance Analyst internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Toronto, supporting the execution of cyclical reporting processes and the broader accounting function. You will contribute to project results, participate in core business process management, and ensure that financial activities align with enterprise governance and control standards.
What you'll do#
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting tasks.
- Analyze data to provide insights on financial, regulatory, and risk matters.
- Support the interpretation of internal and external policies, including credit reporting requirements.
- Prepare and format data for dashboards and regular reports.
- Provide attestation regarding the validity of financial results to your manager.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Apply the Risk Management Framework to protect bank assets and ensure sound decision-making.
- Collaborate across the organization to deliver specific program results.
What you'll need#
- A post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Proficiency in presentation building and video editing.
- Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience improving processes and creating efficiencies.
- UIPath experience is considered an asset.
