About the role#
This is a part-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. You will support our team by managing information systems and ensuring they run effectively. This role requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Manage the day-to-day configuration and operation of information management systems.
- Analyze system capacity and performance to recommend upgrades or configuration changes.
- Create automated tools and scripts to improve the efficiency of system administration tasks.
- Develop standard procedures and conduct training or skills assessments.
- Identify user needs and analyze system capabilities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree and are scheduled to graduate by Spring 2028.
- You have knowledge regarding the configuration and operation of systems.
- You can maintain servers, monitor system performance, and ensure system links function correctly.
- You have the ability to establish backups and monitor system security.
- You must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Experience with systems administration in an academic or professional setting is preferred.
