About the role#
As a Wealth Management Intern at Boulay, you will work directly with our advisor team to support client needs. This role focuses on providing direct assistance to advisors and associates rather than business generation or cold-calling. You will gain experience through diverse projects, in-house training, and direct mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Build financial plans and craft recommendations using eMoney software.
- Research and present findings on specific financial planning topics.
- Prepare for and attend client meetings.
- Draft client communications.
- Roll over previous year tax returns into Holistiplan to prepare for tax planning season.
- Create tax projections to illustrate planning opportunities.
- Support investment activities, including trading, trend analysis, and evaluating asset allocation.
- Learn the due diligence process for selecting investment products.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in financial planning, finance, or accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA with a solid academic record.
- Completion of intermediate finance or accounting coursework.
- A general understanding of financial markets, economics, investment products, and financial planning.
- Strong analytical aptitude and the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a self-directed manner.
