About the role#
As a Tax Intern at BPM LLP, you will join a team of tax experts. You will gain exposure to diverse industries including Blockchain, Financial Services, Real Estate, and Nonprofits. You will receive support from a personal coach and buddy throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Apply critical analysis to data to prepare tax returns and work papers.
- Research and evaluate complex tax issues to provide insights to seniors and managers.
- Keep your knowledge of tax laws, IRS guidelines, and regulations current.
- Participate in training programs and work toward your CPA designation.
- Attend regional intern events and collaborate with fellow interns on projects.
What you'll need#
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- An interest in pursuing or obtaining your CPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to start on January 7, 2027.
- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week from February through April.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site internship for Winter 2027 based in California.
- The schedule requires 20 hours per week in January and at least 30 hours per week from February through April.
