About the role#
The Quality Systems Intern reports to the Quality Systems Manager. You will assist with projects that ensure our compliance with medical device standards and regulations. This role provides hands-on support for engineering changes and helps maintain product documentation. You will learn the requirements for safe medical device development and gain experience for a career in the medical device industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the implementation of the new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Interact with the Eden Prairie engineering team to support change orders.
- Provide quality assurance oversight for documentation change orders.
- Support the internal audit program and assist with external audits.
- Help with Corrective Action (CAPA) activities, including investigations and verifying effectiveness.
- Perform data entry, data clean-up, and create training materials.
- Track and update training records and assist with electronic record control.
What you'll need#
- Completed sophomore year of coursework.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biology, or Physics.
- Moderate computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and reporting results.

- Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship.
