About the role#
The Brand Strategy Intern supports marketing strategy for the Disney & Pixar Games portfolio. You will work with licensees to implement go-to-market plans, review marketing assets, and build brand awareness. This role involves coordinating schedules, managing processes, and handling deliverables for assigned titles. You will report to the Brand Strategy Manager.
What you'll do#
- Partner with teams like Product Development, Creative, PR, and Legal to secure approvals for marketing deliverables.
- Coordinate asset deliveries and track projects using internal management tools.
- Manage team processes, meeting agendas, and follow up on action items.
- Draft and distribute project guidance, updates, and protocols.
- Support the marketing calendar by tracking social activations and CRM communications.
- Write, proofread, and edit public-facing marketing copy.
- Learn to analyze marketing metrics, reporting, and campaign benchmarks.
- Serve as a brand steward while building relationships with internal teams and external licensees.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a bachelor's degree program for Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Games.
- Prior experience in marketing, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Knowledge of brand management, product marketing, and user acquisition.
- Meticulous organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong writing and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software like Airtable.
- A strong work ethic and interest in the gaming and consumer electronics industries.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people.
- Must be at least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Glendale, California.
- The term runs from January 11, 2027, through June 6, 2027.
- The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.
