    About the role#

    This co-op position supports the R&D Sustaining team in Eden Prairie. You will work on ongoing product development, design improvements, and lifecycle engineering. The role focuses on ensuring medical devices meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer needs. You will gain exposure to operations and product support departments while learning about development procedures in the medical device industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Evaluate product design, test methods, and process capabilities to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Assist with test fixture design, troubleshooting, and the qualification of test methods.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
    • Perform technical data analysis to support test methods and improvements.
    • Define and generate required documentation for manufacturing products and processes, including engineering protocols and reports.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program as a sophomore or junior.
    • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related field.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0.
    • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for future visa sponsorship.

    • Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota (on-site).
    • Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
    • Status: Paid, full-time position.
