    About the role#

    The Philanthropy Fellow will support the fundraising, strategy, and engagement efforts of the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate. This fellowship is part of the Robert Kraft Family-Brandeis Initiative on Antisemitism and provides an opportunity to gain experience in nonprofit management and development. The position reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and is a one-year appointment with the possibility of an extension for a second year.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct in-depth research on potential and existing prospects, including wealth screenings and philanthropic giving patterns.
    • Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce to help track progress toward fundraising goals.
    • Support the development of grant proposals for institutional funding and private foundations.
    • Assist with reporting requirements and the renewal process for grant-based gifts.
    • Help create and execute donor stewardship plans for key donors.
    • Monitor donor interactions and draft acknowledgement letters and other stewardship materials.

    What you'll need#

    • Status as a recent Brandeis undergraduate.
    • Strong research skills and a keen eye for detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Curiosity and a commitment to the work of the organization.

    Location & details#

    • This role is located on-site at the Blue Square Alliance Against Hate offices in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
    • The term for this position begins in Fall 2026.
    • This is a paid, part-time position.
