About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. You will work with the Dealer Sales team at Mercury Marine to support our customers and internal sales staff. This position operates on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to Mercury Dealers across the United States.
- Answer incoming calls and emails from dealers regarding product inquiries and orders.
- Process orders and communicate relevant procedures to dealers.
- Use Salesforce.com to document and track various stages of the sales cycle.
- Assist with daily administrative tasks like order entry and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Account Reps, the Business Development Manager, and Regional Business Directors.
- Coordinate with internal departments including credit, supply chain, and distribution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or Psychology.
- Completion of at least 48 credits and minimum second semester sophomore status.
- Proficiency with computer software, including databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and order entry systems.
- Strong interpersonal, phone, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multi-task effectively.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from May through August 2027.
