About the role#
As a Software Validation Intern at Mercury Marine, you will join a team focused on testing mobile applications, embedded controllers, and dealer service tools. You will work with both simulators and on-vessel hardware to ensure our technology meets high standards. This role requires clear documentation and communication skills, as well as the flexibility to move between different projects based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop test plans and test cases for mobile applications, embedded controllers, and Windows based software.
- Execute regression, exploratory, and integration testing on cell phones, tablets, and embedded hardware.
- Develop and maintain automated test software.
- Test software functionality, document issues, and report findings to the Software Engineering team.
- Assist Software Engineers in finding solutions for issues discovered during testing.
- Help design and set up test fixtures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with at least 48 completed credits.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.
- Ability to work on-site in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

- Pay: $18.00 to $27.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
