About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia, for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. At the end of the term, you will present your completed projects to the leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Develop and deliver engineering solutions for nuclear environments.
- Create and update technical drawings and procedures.
- Participate in design testing, analysis, project management, and material procurement.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance, which includes a background investigation and drug test.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship. A housing stipend is available for interns whose home of record is more than 50 miles from the work site.
