About the role#
This internship supports the Advanced Measurements and Structural Data Recording Operations department within Development Operations. You will assist with technical tasks required to prepare engine instrumentation and test facilities for development and production testing. This role requires U.S. citizenship to access program information.
What you'll do#
- Configure high-speed data systems to acquire stand acoustics and structural data from engine hardware sensors.
- Perform real-time monitoring of data to ensure quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair sensor and wiring issues.
- Consult with engineering and customer groups to establish project requirements.
- Perform mechanical and electrical installations.
- Calibrate devices in the lab or test facility.
- Run specialized data acquisition systems during validation testing.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the completion of the internship.
