About the role#
This internship supports daily procurement operations at our Lynchburg facility. You will assist with purchase order management, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and analyze data to track cost, schedule, and quality performance. You will also lead small projects to improve procurement processes and help map business workflows.
What you'll do#
- Perform purchase order follow-up and maintenance to support Buyer activities.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documents tied to deliverables.
- Communicate subcontract status and key updates to stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and report data using SAP and other business systems.
- Manage small projects aimed at improving procurement processes.
- Troubleshoot procurement challenges and build knowledge of company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT.
- U.S. citizenship is required.

- Compensation: $32.24 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship.
