About the role#
As a Cyber Security Engineer Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on hands-on projects that impact our proprietary systems and thousands of users globally. You will be paired with an experienced engineer who provides mentorship, feedback, and guidance throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, plan, implement, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance our security posture.
- Recommend security controls and procedures within the acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle.
- Monitor for compliance.
- Investigate and triage suspicious or malicious activity and alerts.
- Implement security products including firewalls, AV systems, IDS, IPS, web content filters, and Microsoft Windows system security.
- Learn from experienced engineers to understand our business and systems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of security engineering best practices, such as secure development, cryptography, network security, and incident response.
- Innovative problem-solving skills.
