    About the role#

    This role joins the Development Operations team at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. You will support the planning, execution, and optimization of well and pipeline abandonment and decommissioning projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the engineering team through data acquisition and analysis for optimization projects, including well records and pipeline map reviews.
    • Gain hands-on experience with industry software programs such as Wellview, Siteview, Accumap, and Tableau.
    • Get exposure to all aspects of well, pipeline, and facility operations including drilling, completions, and well servicing.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Biomedical engineering degree program.
    • A valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or an equivalent out of province license.
    • Ability to stay organized, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Calgary, Alberta.
    • Term: Fall 2027 (8 months).
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
    • This is a paid, safety-sensitive position.
