    About the role#

    This position is for an engineering student to join the Development Operations team at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. You will assist with planning, executing, and optimizing operations related to well completions and abandonment. This is a 4-month, full-time, on-site role based at the head office in Calgary.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the engineering team by performing data acquisition and analysis for optimization projects and well records reviews.
    • Gain hands-on experience using industry software such as Wellview, Accumap, Tableau, and Power BI.
    • Observe and participate in all aspects of well operations within drilling and completions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an Engineering degree program, including Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Electrical, Industrial, or Aerospace disciplines.
    • A valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or an equivalent license from another province.
    • A motivated and collaborative approach to teamwork.
    • Legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Calgary, Alberta.
    • Term: Summer 2027, starting in May.
    • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
    • This is a paid, safety-sensitive position.
