About the role#
We are hiring for a Material Planning Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in New Bremen, Ohio. You will support our planning teams to keep production running smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Create, update, and monitor daily and weekly production schedules.
- Identify material shortages or overages and suggest solutions.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track planning performance.
- Enter and maintain data within our ERP systems.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and kanban technicians to keep plans aligned.
- Collect and analyze production data to support lean manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
- Help document standard operating procedures and maintain training materials.
- Participate in daily production meetings and planning reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
