About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Providence, Rhode Island. The role focuses on gaining practical experience in audit assignments across various industries including Real Estate, Construction, Nonprofit, and Manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning audit assignments and participate in client projects from start to finish.
- Apply your knowledge of accounting principles, quality control standards, and technology procedures.
- Identify audit issues and discuss technical matters or improvement opportunities with senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Build and maintain working relationships with client staff.
- Uphold professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct at all times.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, think independently, and solve problems.
- Interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.
