About the role#
CBIZ is looking for a Tax Intern to join the team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Merrimack, New Hampshire. You will gain experience across various industries including Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning tax assignments for a variety of clients.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Help with IRS audits and respond to tax notices.
- Support trust, gift, and estate tax returns.
- Participate in client projects from start to finish.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff.
- Maintain high standards for client confidentiality and professional conduct.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master's degree in a related field is also preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Experience through student organizations or previous work in accounting.
