    About the role#

    This internship provides students and recent graduates with experience in basic, translational, and clinical research. You will work under the supervision of a Postdoctoral Scientist, Research Associate, or Principal Investigator. The program lasts up to twelve months and introduces you to various research practices, including Institutional Review Board protocols and Human Subjects courses.

    What you'll do#

    • Receive training in research methods and shadow staff to observe scientific procedures.
    • Support data collection, data entry, and literature searches.
    • Assist with basic patient screening tasks and scholarly writing.
    • Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
    • Help operate and maintain lab equipment.
    • Follow safety standards and procedures.
    • Take on more advanced laboratory support functions based on your education and ability.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in a STEM program with senior-year standing, or a bachelor's degree in a STEM field earned within the past 12 months.
    • A basic understanding of general research objectives.
    • Availability to work up to 40 hours per week.
    • A bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Sciences with at least two years of lab coursework is preferred.
    • No licenses or certifications are required for this role.
