About the role#
Centific is hiring for our PhD Research Internship Program. You will work on AI and machine learning projects, focusing on areas like NLP, Computer Vision, and Large Language Models. This role involves solving real-world technical problems and collaborating with our team of researchers and industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of AI and machine learning projects.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD or MS program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
- Focus areas in NLP, Computer Vision, LLMs, VLMs, or Responsible AI.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Expertise in PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Practical experience with RAG, Vector DBs, or LLM fine-tuning.
- A strong understanding of Transformer Architecture.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in the United States.
- The internship is full-time and follows a rolling schedule.
- This is a paid position at $40 per hour.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
