About the role#
The Admissions Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students to assist in the recruitment of future Silverswords. You will act as the first point of contact for the Office of Admissions, sharing the history, traditions, and campus life of Chaminade University of Honolulu with prospective students and their families.
What you'll do#
- Lead campus tours and VIP tours for prospective visitors.
- Facilitate the Silversword Shadow Program by helping students engage with campus culture through class shadowing and activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students and their families.
- Manage administrative tasks including data entry and audits on the Slate platform.
- Prepare and mail out acceptance packages and recruitment materials.
- Represent the university at various on-campus and off-campus events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time Day Undergraduate student at Chaminade University of Honolulu.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google platforms, and Canva.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and tasks.
- Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as event schedules require.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and walk across campus comfortably.
