About the role#
The Business Intelligence Intern supports the Revenue division by providing data-driven insights for ticketing, partnerships, marketing, and the mobile app. You will gain hands-on experience by researching consumer behavior, managing datasets, and designing dashboards. This is a paid, on-site internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Support ongoing projects across Business Intelligence, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Marketing.
- Use data to provide insights on consumer behavior, attitudes, and demographics.
- Review and maintain current Tableau dashboards while optimizing SQL queries.
- Organize, clean, and manage data within the CRM system.
- Participate in the full internship program, which includes workshops, speaker series, job shadowing, and a dedicated intern project.
What you'll need#
- Current student or graduate pursuing a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A strong interest in the sports industry, specifically within Business Intelligence.
- Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, project management, and creative problem-solving skills.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Note: Male collegiate basketball players must have exhausted their NCAA eligibility before participating.
Location & details#
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 7, 2026, through April 23, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Hours: 20 to 30 hours per week, including availability to work home games, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
