    About the role#

    Chevron is hiring Earth Science interns for the summer of 2026. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Houston, Texas. You will work on projects that contribute value to the company while developing your technical skills in geoscience, geophysics, and petrophysics. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and receive guidance from a supervisor and a technical mentor.

    What you'll do#

    • Work on assignments focused on exploration, development, reservoir characterization, and well operations.
    • Collaborate with geologists, engineers, data scientists, and software developers.
    • Apply your academic background to real-world projects.
    • Utilize specialized knowledge in areas such as basin modeling, geophysics, seismic imaging, or data science.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Master’s or Doctorate Thesis program.
    • Academic focus in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Biology, or related fields.
    • Strong academic performance and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
    • Note that this position may require routine driving.
