About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work with an assigned mentor on one or more projects to support operating facilities. You will apply technical engineering knowledge and project management skills to real-world tasks. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in a global energy environment while contributing to active operations. Top-performing interns may be considered for a return internship or a full-time position upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support operating facilities by applying technical engineering knowledge.
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
- Develop and deploy technologies to reduce carbon, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
- Use digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in electrical engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
