About the role#
As a Facilities Engineering Intern, you will work directly with a mechanical engineering mentor on projects that support our operating facilities. This role focuses on applying technical engineering knowledge and project management skills to real-world energy operations. Interns gain hands-on experience while contributing to the safety and reliability of our systems.
What you'll do#
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and various projects.
- Develop and deploy technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions and increasing operational efficiency.
- Use digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
- Strong academic performance in your core program.
- Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way in your daily work.
