About the role#
We are hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for our San Diego office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position. You will join our mechanical design team to work on HVAC and plumbing systems for various complex facilities.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of construction plans using Revit 3D modeling software.
- Prepare design calculations under the guidance of our engineering staff.
- Assist with the preparation of project pursuit materials and reports.
- Help with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation.
- Support engineering staff with HVAC and plumbing design tasks.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Completion of at least 3 years of coursework is required.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with 3D modeling.
- Strong English communication skills.
- You should be motivated and able to work well in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is preferred.
