    About the role#

    This internship offers students the chance to work on projects that support operating facilities. You will be assigned a process engineering mentor to guide your work. The role focuses on applying technical engineering knowledge and project management skills to real-world operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Support operating facilities by applying technical engineering knowledge.
    • Optimize facilities to deliver value safely and reliably.
    • Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
    • Develop and deploy technologies to reduce carbon, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
    • Use digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in chemical engineering.
    • Strong academic performance in core coursework.
    • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship with a rolling term.
    • Locations include Houston, Texas; Bakersfield, California; Belle Chasse, Louisiana; Midland, Texas; Geismar, Louisiana; El Segundo, California; Pasadena, Texas; Pascagoula, Mississippi; Covington, Louisiana; Salt Lake City, Utah; Richmond, California; Ames, Iowa; and Greeley, Colorado.
