About the role#
This internship provides students with the opportunity to support operating facilities through technical engineering and project management. You will be assigned a mentor and work on specific projects to apply your engineering knowledge in a professional environment. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Support operating facilities by completing assigned projects.
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in civil engineering.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.

Location & details#
This position is based on-site at various locations across the United States, including Houston and Midland, Texas; Bakersfield, El Segundo, and Pasadena, California; Belle Chasse, Covington, and Geismar, Louisiana; Pascagoula, Mississippi; Salt Lake City, Utah; Ames, Iowa; and Greeley, Colorado.
