About the role#
As a Development Intern at Clear-Com, you will contribute to software improvements for our intercom products. You will join an Agile development team to advance specific projects, write scripts, and build internal tools. You will work within both Windows and Linux environments.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your team to break down project requirements into manageable tasks.
- Write and validate unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
- Update functional specifications as project needs evolve.
- Identify and fix bugs.
- Attend and participate in regular Agile team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current studies in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages including TypeScript, C, C++, or C# (.NET).
- Experience with Docker, Windows, Linux, and Git.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python is considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in English, as some team members communicate primarily in English.
Location & details#
- Location: Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. While we offer flexibility, we suggest that interns work from the office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
