About the role#
Grass Valley is offering a full-time software development internship within our Research and Development department for the Winter 2027 term. This position is based in Montreal and lasts for four months, with the possibility of an extension. You will join the GV Engine SCRUM team, which focuses on developing and improving the audio, video, and data processing engines that power our core products, including the GV AMPP platform.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain software interfaces while working closely with quality assurance.
- Ensure high product quality and system stability.
- Provide support to internal and external users of the delivered software artifacts.
- Integrate automated user tests into our existing Jenkins environment.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- Proficiency in modern C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Practical experience with Linux software development.
- Prior experience working within an Agile SCRUM development team.
- Fluency in both French and English, in oral and written forms.
