About the role#
As a Test Engineer Intern, you will help demonstrate the quality of Precision Technology products. You will work in both lab and field environments to evaluate system readiness, which includes both software and hardware components. This is a full-time position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop, maintain, and update test procedures for new and current products.
- Evaluate test requirements based on specifications and standard procedures.
- Create and execute test plans.
- Document defects found during testing to support root cause analysis.
- Operate large agricultural machines while performing testing activities.
- Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate results, and provide recommendations.
- Assist with the request for quote process related to testing needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following established safety and ergonomic standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience developing and executing test cases based on system and software requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and system integration issues in real time.
- Ability to safely access and work on agricultural equipment in field and shop environments.
- Proficiency with a computer, including the Microsoft Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with agricultural equipment operations and farming practices.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to work as a self-motivated team player with minimal supervision.
