About the role#
The Data Engineering team builds the software and infrastructure needed to manage AI and sensor data pipelines. These systems help evaluate product performance and support the development of algorithms for smart machinery and autonomy. As an intern, you will work on cloud-based projects that directly support AI and machine learning initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that process and analyze large volumes of sensor and AI data.
- Support migration efforts from AWS to Azure.
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to improve infrastructure scalability and data flow efficiency.
- Work on existing projects to build technical skills and contribute to ongoing improvements.
- Explore ways to optimize pipelines for better speed, reliability, and performance.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled college student actively pursuing a degree, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position located in Phoenix, Arizona.
- The internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term.
- This position is paid.
