About the role#
Collins Engineers, Inc. is hiring a Civil/Construction Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Downers Grove, Illinois. You will spend most of your time in the field working on active heavy highway and bridge construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform construction inspections on project sites.
- Complete field reports.
- Ensure construction work follows contract drawings and applicable standards.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare project documents.

- You must be an undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
