About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will join our IT Department for an 11-week program during the summer of 2027. You will receive mentorship and on-the-job training while working on real projects designed by our senior leadership team. This role is intended to provide you with a foundation in the insurance industry and prepare you for potential future opportunities with us.
What you'll do#
- Write technical specifications and build high-quality code that meets business requirements.
- Participate in peer code reviews to maintain performance and development standards.
- Assist with application testing and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide feedback to help us improve the internship program.
- Present your work, skills, and achievements to senior leadership at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current study focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to report analytical findings and present information.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A strong desire to learn.
- Experience developing software with the assistance of AI is a plus.

- This is a paid, part-time, on-site internship located in Bedford, New Hampshire.
