About the role#
As a Business Systems Analyst Intern, you will join our IT department for an 11-week program. You will work on projects and tasks designed by senior leadership to gain experience in the insurance industry. We provide on-the-job training and mentorship to help you prepare for a potential career with us after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze business processes and system needs to support technology solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to review requirements.
- Develop test scenarios and assist with application testing.
- Produce and maintain requirements, process, and system documentation.
- Present your work, skills, and achievements to senior leadership at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current study focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- A strong desire to learn.
- Experience with data analysis, business process analysis, or AI tools is a plus.
