About the role#
The Application Support Engineering Intern is a hands-on operations position. You will work alongside senior engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to support a portfolio of over 170 applications. Your primary focus is contributing to the development of AI Ops tools using VS Code and GitHub. You will help ensure our systems meet service levels and help evolve our automation tools to meet stakeholder needs.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with architecture, software development, security, and DevOps teams to design and maintain secure support solutions.
- Develop and automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes.
- Manage and optimize the CI/CD pipeline.
- Maintain support tools to ensure vendor and security compliance.
- Monitor tool performance to meet agreed upon SLAs.
- Implement security measures to protect data and applications.
- Stay current with industry trends and proactively address system issues.
- Document processes to share knowledge with the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Master's program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, including topics, intents, Generative Answers, and Power Automate connectors.
- Ability to author, test, and iterate prompts while evaluating responses for accuracy and tone.
- Scripting and automation skills in languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, YML, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, Oracle Cloud, or AWS, including infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A desire to learn and a focus on customer service and team success.
