About the role#
TripleThreat, a division of Create Music Group, is looking for an intern to join our team. This role supports artist discovery and provides exposure to A&R, marketing, and digital rights. You will learn how a modern music company operates through hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Research new artists and creators using software and your own methods.
- Gather data and pitch potential signings to our A&R team.
- Assist with marketing and digital rights tasks for our roster.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Familiarity with hip hop music, culture, and content.
- Knowledge of internet culture and social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok.
- A goal to work in the music or entertainment industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Google Apps.
- Access to a laptop, headphones, and reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California.
- You must be able to report to the office 2-3 times per week.
- This is a part-time, paid internship available for the Summer or Fall 2026 terms.
- Candidates should be available for 10-20 hours per week over a 3-4 month period.
