About the role#
This internship focuses on research to identify potential talent for our A&R team. You will use social media, DSPs, and various research tools to track emerging artists and songs. This is a paid, hybrid position based in our Los Angeles office.
What you'll do#
- Research artists and songs to identify new opportunities.
- Gather YouTube data and build analytics reports on potential signees.
- Support the sales funnel by tracking artist leads from initial identification through the signing process.
- Assist the A&R team with projects aimed at building relationships with producers, songwriters, managers, and other creatives.
- Help gather song files and links for recent signings.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be based in Los Angeles to attend the office 2 to 3 times per week.
- A strong interest in music, culture, and content discovery.
- Motivation to build a career in the music or entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with internet culture and social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week, flexible to fit school commitments.
- Duration: 3 to 4 months.
