About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while focusing on patient care, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance. This role is designed to help you grow professionally while contributing to the quality of care for our patients.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and model company values.
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy and pride.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform inventory and workflow management tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Close visual acuity and manual dexterity for tasks like typing and scanning.
