About the role#
This paid, 10-week internship offers hands-on experience in retail management. You will work directly with store teams and leadership to understand the daily operations of a retail environment. The program aims to provide professional growth and exposure to business strategy within the healthcare industry.
What you'll do#
- Lead a retail team and interact directly with customers.
- Learn day-to-day store operations, including merchandise handling, inventory management, and stocking.
- Develop management best practices alongside Store Managers.
- Complete a business-focused project that addresses a real opportunity and present your findings to leadership.
- Analyze business performance and learn how operational decisions affect store results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Locations include Mount Prospect, Northbrook, Waukegan, and Niles, Illinois.
- The program takes place during the summer of 2027.
