About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship for students interested in a career in retail store management. You will work 35 hours per week on-site, gaining hands-on experience by working alongside store managers and district leaders. The program focuses on leadership development and operational excellence within a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Lead a retail team and work directly with customers.
- Learn day-to-day operations and retail management best practices.
- Complete a business-focused project and present your findings to leadership.
- Analyze business performance to understand how operational decisions affect store results.
- Support inventory management, merchandise handling, and stocking tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program, specifically in Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program, including evenings and weekends.
- Interest in pursuing a career in retail store management.
Location & details#
This position is based in Queens, New York, with locations in Forest Hills, Astoria, Kew Gardens, Middle Village, Howard Beach, Ozone Park, Glendale, Jackson Heights, Whitestone, Ridgewood, and Sunnyside. This is a full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
