About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in the administration and improvement of Organizational Effectiveness programs at Dairyland Power Cooperative. You will work on initiatives related to human performance, corrective action, and corporate safety. This is a year-round position that requires a minimum of 10 hours per week during the academic semester and full-time hours during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Collect, validate, and analyze program data using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
- Create and maintain dashboards, charts, tracking tools, and templates to monitor program performance.
- Coordinate project activities by tracking assignments, maintaining schedules, and following up on action items.
- Support change management efforts for new or revised processes and tools.
- Develop professional documentation, including procedures, training materials, and quick-reference guides.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as meeting coordination, document management, and records maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Excel features like pivot tables, data validation, and advanced functions.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or experience managing shared digital content.
- Ability to research industry practices and learn new systems quickly.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
- The role is paid and full-time during the summer months.
- Work schedules are flexible to accommodate academic commitments during the school year.
