About the role#
This internship takes place within the test bench group at our Boucherville facility. You will work in a laboratory focused on the validation and verification of electric motors. The position runs from the beginning of September through the end of December 2026.
What you'll do#
- Create assembly instructions and work orders for laboratory operators.
- Design new tooling for use in the test laboratory.
- Conduct validation tests for fastening devices.
- Perform test setups.
- Work alongside experienced engineers to complete your tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a Mechanical Engineering program or an equivalent discipline.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX 3D modeling software. We will also consider experience with CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge.
- Strong practical mechanical skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with hydraulic equipment is an asset.
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems and programmable logic controllers is an asset.
