About the role#
Delaware Park Casino offers a rolling MIS internship for students interested in building a career in information technology. You will work alongside our IT team to support the technology infrastructure of a 24/7 business. This position provides exposure to systems, networking, cybersecurity, and application support.
What you'll do#
- Handle IT service requests and support calls, including basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment.
- Assist with user account administration and software installations.
- Document tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in our tracking system.
- Manage IT equipment and asset inventory.
- Collaborate with the IT team on various technical projects.
What you'll need#
- An interest in pursuing a career in information technology. You do not need prior professional IT experience.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work across different IT areas.
- Must pass the background check and licensing process required by the Delaware Lottery.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift, lift up to 40 lbs, and push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working in various property environments, including areas with noise, music, and varying temperatures.

- The work is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- You will be required to wear a company-provided uniform.
