About the role#
This 5-month co-op program offers an introduction to the auditing profession. You will work with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits. The program includes structured learning, networking, and direct mentorship to support your career development.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit procedures over key financial statement accounts, transactions, and disclosures.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify risks, trends, and potential issues.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized audit documentation in line with professional standards.
- Collaborate directly with client personnel and engagement teams to gather information and resolve questions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Baruch College COOP 2001 - Professional Development for Business Co-op.
- Junior level status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Definitive plans to meet minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Spring 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires commuting to the office on average 3 times a week).
