About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and exposure to client service within the tax practice. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build technical knowledge through research and collaboration. The role focuses on developing practical skills and understanding complex tax matters through mentorship and coaching.
What you'll do#
- Support client service teams with tax research, analysis, and project delivery.
- Perform tax research and analysis for client engagements.
- Assist in evaluating the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues.
- Support client projects across various offerings.
- Use tax, data, and technology tools to support project execution and service delivery.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in business administration, accounting, or a related program.
- Expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2029.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Definitive plans to meet minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state of your assigned office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to build professional relationships and manage multiple tasks.
- At least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
- Technology-related coursework, a 3.2 cumulative GPA, and previous internship or work experience are preferred.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2028.
- Work Modality: Hybrid with an expectation to co-locate 2-3 times a week.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50 percent based on client and project needs.
- Requirements: Must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office and attend all in-person core programming sessions.
- Compensation: The pay range for this role is $25 to $48 per hour.
- Sponsorship: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
