About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience within the Customer Operations organization. You will work directly with the Engineering team at the Product Customer Experience Lab in El Segundo. The program lasts 10 weeks and runs from either June 7 to August 13, 2027, or June 14 to August 20, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Implement software updates and feature enhancements.
- Research issues using feedback channels to build solutions.
- Investigate system gaps and identify new opportunities.
- Present ideas and engage with leadership.
- Work alongside the Engineering organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Coding experience across a variety of programming languages.
- Strong technical acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
- General technical knowledge and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Familiarity with DIRECTV products and services.
- Exposure to artificial intelligence, specifically computer vision, is a plus.
- Full U.S. work authorization is required.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship with an hourly rate between $25 and $34 based on academic status.
- The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week at the El Segundo lab.
- You must be local to the Los Angeles area and have reliable transportation.
