About the role#
As a Finance and Audit Intern at DIRECTV, you will join a team focused on financial performance, risk assessment, and audit planning. You will contribute to projects that impact our business operations and systems. This is a full-time, paid summer internship that allows you to apply your academic background to real-world scenarios.
What you'll do#
- Support team members in planning and executing assigned projects.
- Evaluate business processes, internal controls, and information systems.
- Analyze financial, operational, and control-related data to find trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Document your procedures, analysis, and findings in a clear manner.
- Build or improve dashboards, automation solutions, and data analytics tools.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate your progress or questions.
- Handle company and audit information according to security and confidentiality requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or advanced degree program in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Understanding of corporate financial metrics, information systems, and IT security basics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in process automation, AI tools, or technologies like Power BI and Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in the United States.
- The internship lasts 10 weeks.
- Program dates are either 6/7/27 to 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 to 8/20/27.
- Pay ranges from $25 to $34 per hour, depending on academic status.
- Applicants must have full U.S. work authorization.
