About the role#
The Commercial Sales Operations Project Management Intern supports the development, adoption, and governance of the Project Management Framework at DIRECTV. You will work with project managers and business stakeholders to maintain standards, improve documentation, and promote consistent delivery practices across Commercial Sales Operations initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Help develop and improve PM Framework standards, templates, and best practices.
- Maintain project artifacts such as fact sheets, BRDs, workbooks, kickoff presentations, and launch readiness documentation.
- Review project documentation to ensure consistency, completeness, and adherence to framework guidelines.
- Track milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and key deliverables.
- Create reports and dashboards to measure framework adoption, project health, and documentation compliance.
- Support onboarding for teams using framework tools and document process improvements.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
- An interest in project management, governance, operational excellence, AI, and process improvement.
Location & details#
- This is a 10-week remote internship.
- Program dates are 6/7/27 to 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 to 8/20/27.
- The role is full-time.
- Compensation is $20 per hour for undergraduates and $28 per hour for graduate students.
- You must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future.
